This sharp-winged bird came to life while I was sketching in the early evening — there’s something magical about the contrast of wings against a pale sky. I kept the design simple and bold so it really pops in colorwork. Try it on beanies, mittens or a modern sweater yoke. A light wool or soft cotton yarn in DK weight works great for clean lines.
